In the remote 1999, in cooperation with other partners, Rodolfo Kachanian has founded the Opificio delle Arti Tessili. After several years of work, during 2006 he left the company being compelled to make a strategic choice between antique carpet trade and restoration, especially in a rather large structure as that of the Opificio.

Unfortunately, in 2008 the Opificio was put into liquidation and the specialized staff was fired on end-of-activity grounds.

Having always nurtured a great passion for textile conservation in general and having kept an excellent relationship with the Opificio's qualified staff, Rodolfo Kachanian realized that it could be a good opportunity that of creating a new structure and calling it Khotan Services, taking advantage first of all of the cooperation of the Opificio's person in charge, Mister Pasquale Nacca, and also of the professionality of the best restorers of the old structure.

The objective Khotan Services aims to is giving an excellency service with an agile, functional structure where the ratio between price and quality is in the customers' favor.
